Wildwood Park

If you’re a beginner hiker or looking for a simple, peaceful stroll through beautiful nature scenery, Wildwood Park is the perfect starting destination. Located only a few minutes outside Harrisburg, Wildwood has simple paved, stone, and boardwalk trails that can take you in a 3.1-mile loop around the park or through some of the area’s wetlands. Wildwood is friendly for all outdoor activities, whether hiking, walking, running, biking, or bird watching. You’ll also see plenty of dogs traveling on the trails with their owners, making it a perfect pet-friendly location for anyone wanting to exercise. Once you’ve finished your hike, Wildwood is home to the Olewine Nature Center, where you can view interactive exhibits and learn more about Pennsylvania wildlife.
